Join me for this fun and informative workshop. Learn how to grow thriving plants in small spaces and how to avoid the pitfalls of container gardening.

The workshop will inform you about:

• choosing plants that will survive and thrive;

• growing fruits and vegetables as well as ornamentals;

• how to choose the right pots and containers;

• what potting mix to use; and

• when and how to water.

The workshop includes a tour of a balcony garden Stephen designed for a Collingwood factory conversion. The balcony is filled with edible herbs, fruit and veggies and shows what you can do on an exposed north-east facing balcony.

The format of both sessions will be:

• 1 hour talk

• 30 minutes morning or afternoon tea and questions
